so it's been a while....

this whole blogging every day didn't go as planned... stupid busy life! lol let me recap the last 4 months...

church... booked
date... set
social hall... booked
reception hall... booked
wedding dress...BOUGHT!

thing's left to do...

-finish up social prizes
-make invitations (what am I thinking??? lol)
(thanks to Laura for doing the reply cards... she's as insane as I am!!!)
-decide on decorations (pretty sure i have decided but I have two options to pick from so it's pretty much there!)
-Bridesmaid dresses (just waiting on baby Mallally to show up so that we can go try on the one I want... don't worry I still have an open mind about others but I LOVE the one I want!)
-little thing's here and there...

the main thing not done is for the fiance to ask the men/boys he wants to be in the wedding... hopefully this weekend! if not i may have to do it!

so the dish on the dress... Laura and I went to Fargo for the day due to a commercial she saw from David's bridal about every dress on sale... sounded like a good reason to cross the border to me! lol We get to David's bridal just before 4 and are told there is only one appointment left for the day at 5:30... SOLD! so for an hour and a half we looked thru the wedding dresses for ones for me to try on (the list was at 10) and then it was her turn to try on bridesmaid's dresses... she tried on at least 10.... some great some so not great... it was the last one that we both fell in love with ( and at that moment my colours went from nice fall green to latte and champagne... it just sounds so elegant!). Next it was my turn to try on dresses. The first dress I tried on was so bad that Laura wouldn't even let me out of the room to look in a mirror... that is when it was decided no strapless... it was the second dress I tried that I fell in love with and decided on. To be fair to the 3rd dress hanging outside my room I tried it also... it was quite beautiful with lots of detail and a long train but it wasn't that second dress... it was the colour I wanted and luckily my dress also came in the ivory as I am not a white colour wearing person! I bought it that day and can't wait until April until it comes in and I can try it on again... gotta say this princess thing is awesome! and the price was crazy good!
